MetroShield Cyber is the cybersecurity and managed IT division of Metropoltech Consulting Inc., based in Laurel, Maryland. We work with small and midsized businesses across Baltimore, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia — with remote support available nationwide — to close the security gaps that generic IT support leaves open.
Metropoltech Consulting Inc. was founded in 2016 by Didian Tsongwain V, CISSP, drawing on more than 16 years in IT leadership. Across that career, he saw the same pattern repeat: small businesses with no dedicated security expertise, relying on IT providers who treated security as an afterthought. Neither holds up against today’s threats — ransomware, phishing, and compliance requirements don’t wait for a business to “get around to” security. MetroShield Cyber was built to make cybersecurity the starting point, not the add-on.
